The Medisafe team includes over 70 team members, across two global locations – Israel and the US. We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our US team in the Boston area. 

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Medisafe is looking for a Financial Analyst with enterprise software / SaaS experience primarily focused on FP&A activities, period-end accounting duties and related reporting and analysis, commissions tracking, calculation, and reporting. The Financial Analyst will also cross-train with Operations Manager for coverage and to develop task-related enhancements and efficiencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working closely with Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Accounting Manager and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the following monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks:

  • Monthly responsibilities include:
  • Maintain accurate financial model with 3 year’s actuals and 2 year’s forecast.
  • Review Sales Contract/Statements of Work with Sales and Partner Success, and related data entry.
  • Maintain financial model integrity including:
    • Revenue Recognition
    • ARR calculation and reconciliation
    • Invoicing, Collections, Credits/Adjustments, Tracking renewals
  • Budget vs. Actual Tracking.
  • Schedule/attend departmental meetings with leadership focused on Bookings, ARR, Spend versus Budget and Forecast.
  • Bank compliance reporting.
  • Ad hoc reporting for all departments.
  • Support/assist Corporate Accounting Manager with the following:
    • Commissions calculations and reporting
    • Journal Entry preparation, reconciliation for:
      • Revenue
      • PTO, Vacation and Bonus Accrual (U.S. and IL)
      • Commissions Accrual
      • IAP (Apple, Google) revenue
      • Miscellaneous Accounting tasks
  • Support/Assist Operations Manager with the following including:
    • Revenue File Tracking and related tasks
    • Invoicing, Collections
    • Expense Reports
    • Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Quarterly Reporting and Analysis including:
  • Board meeting and slide deck preparation and related variance analysis.
  • Investor reporting
  • Annual Reporting and Analysis including:
  • Work with the CFO and Leadership to prepare the Annual Budget
  • Support Corporate Accounting Manager with year-end audit, tax, transfer pricing and 409A preparation.

IDEAL CANDIDATES:
Education/Experience

  • Undergraduate bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within a corporate finance department, including both FP&A and Staff Accounting (G/L, Invoicing, A/P, A/R, journal entries, reconciliations, etc.)
  • Experience with enterprise software and/or SaaS companies.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting and related concepts.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including knowledge of complex formulas (WHAT IF, EDATE, INDEX, VLOOKUP, Filtering, Pivot Tables, etc.), Word, Adobe and overall PC skills.
  • Previous Commissions administration and calculation experience.
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills, as well as being able to interact professionally with inter-departmental peers, managers, and executive leadership.
  • Ability to work remotely with a minimal amount of supervision.
  • In-office attendance, once a week at minimum, required.
  • Highly professional, with excellent judgment, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
